Overview Inha University was established in 1954 in Yonghyon, Incheon, with the goal of becoming the cradle of scientific and technological education in Korea. User traffic was rising every day and with the newly built Library and High-Tech centre coming online, it was necessary to add additional LAN nodes to the network, so the decision was made to undertake a complete network migration. Nortel Ethernet Switch 470 and 460 and Nortel Ethernet Routing Switch 8600 were chosen as the network backbone. A Nortel Switched Firewall was installed across the network to solve security problems and for the convenience of students, a Nortel WLAN 2201 was deployed for wireless LAN connectivity anywhere, anytime.
