Overview The company Exmouth Community College wanted to transform the network infrastructure of Europe's largest secondary school into a cutting-edge, high-performance platform that would support wireless computing and IP telephony over two campuses. Company deployed a fast, highly-resilient Local Area Network (LAN) infrastructure, offering dual 10Gbps connectivity at the core, using the Nortel Ethernet Routing Switch 5500 portfolio together with the Nortel Ethernet Switch 470. Seamless wireless connectivity is provided by the Nortel WLAN 2300 series.
