Shenzhen Mobile Uses Intel Active Management Technology to Simplify Remote PC Management and Maintenance
Overview China Mobile is one of the largest mobile communications companies in the People's Republic of China. The China Mobile Shenzhen Branch covers all administrative districts in the city of Shenzhen, within the Guangdong province, providing mobile communications services to 99.24 percent of the city's Internet surfers and to 100 percent of the city's important locations. China Mobile Shenzhen Branch needed to reduce the management and maintenance costs associated with its large fleet of remote PCs. Shenzhen Mobile adopted the StarNet network terminal PC remote management and maintenance system provided by StarSoftComm, featuring Intel Active Management Technology. The solution has reduced PC maintenance costs by 80 percent, increased PC uptime, improved PC security, and paved the way for business growth.
