Transportation Services Company Unites Facilities Using Branch Office IT Solution
Overview AmeriQuest is one of the largest transportation service providers in the United States, representing a fleet of more than 700,000 vehicles. Much of its growth came through a 2006 merger with NationaLease. During merger talks, the AmeriQuest IT department saw a need for a technology solution to efficiently and cost-effectively unite the IT systems used at AmeriQuest, which is headquartered in New Jersey, and Illinois-based NationaLease. AmeriQuest deployed a Microsoft Branch Office solution based on the Windows Server 2003 R2 operating system and Brocade Wide Area File Services (WAFS) technology.
