Leading Scottish Grammar School Maintains High Standards Online

Overview Hutchesons' Grammar School is Glasgow's largest independent school. It was established in 1641 and teaches more than 2,000 students aged three to 18 across its three sites. As part of the school's ongoing commitment to educational excellence, it wanted to create a Web site that: reflects the school's size and standing; projects dynamism and vitality of the school community; and delivers these aims to all key stakeholders and an external audience. Working with Microsoft Certified Partner IRW Solutions, the school has implemented a public-facing Web site, based on Microsoft Content Management Server 2002. In addition, Microsoft Office SharePoint Portal Server 2003 and Microsoft Class Server 4.0 have been used to create 'e-Hutchie', a dedicated resource for staff, pupils, and parents.
