Catholic Education Office Deploys Microsoft Learning Gateway to Improve Staff Effectiveness Through Single Sign-On Access To All the Resources They Need

Overview With more than 17,000 students, 1,300 teachers and approximately 330 non-teaching staff across 56 schools, managing access to data is no longer a challenge to the Catholic Schools Office - Diocese Maitland Newcastle (CSO-DMN). Using Scholaris Learning Gateway, CSO-DMN can view in real time current status of staffing levels, as well as provide staff and teachers with up-to-date news, timetables and access to integrated databases and content storage. Managing integrated core data and databases in one location has also enabled the CSO-DMN to track jobs efficiently, manage the payroll, communications, document storage and more. They have also reduced complexity and, consequently, the time needed to manage and maintain data across diverse systems and schools.
