Automation Company Improves Business Efficiency With New Communications Solution
Overview When Siemens Automation and Drives (A&D) wanted to make its business more efficient, it set up an internal communications system. Its first company intranet was not user friendly, however, and annual updates reduced effectiveness. Siemens A&D needed a solution all employees could use to easily upload information. The solution would also have to format presentation sites according to strict style guidelines. Siemens A&D worked with Microsoft Certified Partner BlueBridge Technologies and combined existing Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services with Microsoft Office InfoPath 2003. Now, employees can use templates to create and publish intranet information quickly and easily that meets corporate design specifications. Siemens A&D employees worldwide also enjoy faster processes and can share accessible information consistently across the organisation.
