Extranet Web Portal Streamlines Communications Between Aviva and TCS
Overview Aviva, a global insurance group, sent some of its information technology needs offshore to Tata Consultancy Services' (TCS) Offshore Development Center in Bangalore, India. To manage this relationship, TCS showcased a relationship portal, called PARIMAS or Partner Interaction Management System, with the objective of creating an in-house knowledge management system. PARIMAS is built with Microsoft Office SharePoint Portal Server 2003 and Microsoft Office Business Scorecards Accelerator. It provides a framework for end-to-end customer relationship management. PARIMAS seamlessly connects people, teams, and knowledge across business processes. The portal helps process and manages explicit and implicit knowledge assets in an organized manner, leading to improved productivity, collaboration, and efficient knowledge management.
