Leading Broadcaster Achieves Secure Mobile Network Access and Time Savings of 20 Per Cent

Overview Reseau France Outre-mer (French Overseas Network), one of the leading satellite television service providers operating exclusively in the French language, provides television and radio programming to more than two million French speakers worldwide. To give its journalists mobile access to its global corporate network and help streamline IT management, the company decided to upgrade its existing server operating system and e-mail infrastructure. Microsoft Windows Server 2003, Microsoft Exchange Server 2003, and Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration Server 2004, all of which are part of Windows Server System integrated server software, were implemented to increase security, provide mobile access, and streamline IT administration. As a result, 40 per cent of the television station's employees have already benefited from accessing corporate systems remotely.
