Bank Boosts Efficiency, Improves Replication Capabilities With New Messaging Solution

Overview Sasfin Bank is a financial services organization headquartered in South Africa that serves customers throughout the country. Because many employees work in disparate locations, they rely on e-mail and audio and video conferencing to communicate internally. Employees also travel regularly and use cell phones and mobile devices to check voice-mail and e-mail messages. In addition, the bank's IT staff needs to ensure backup and recovery of e-mail for regulatory purposes. In late 2006, the organization deployed Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 and, several months later, implemented Exchange Server 2007 Service Pack 1 (SP1). This new solution gives IT managers more efficient administration while improving replication and recovery.
