Overview With the rapid progress of network technology, several OC-192c lines are settled across the Pacific Ocean and the Atlantic Ocean and now 10Gbps network is ready for round-the-world communication. However, it is difficult to use the bandwidth efficiently by TCP/IP communication. This paper develops programmable 10Gbps wire-rate packet analyzer TAPEE (Traffic Analysis Precise Enhancement Engine), which aims to collect packet header logs with the 10Gbps wire-rate speed adding time stamp.
