The Bank Selects Cisco Solutions for the National Data Center and IBM to Integrate Network Systems
Overview The Agricultural Bank of China (ABC), one of the four largest state-owned banks in China, has chosen Cisco as its networking solution provider for the data center project in Beijing. IBM worked collaboratively with Cisco for the Beijing data center, which is part of the ABC's strategy for integrating data sources nationwide, with plans for a second center to follow in Shanghai. The new initiative will lead to a more secure, stable and resilient business environment, along with enhanced productivity and operational efficiency. The ABC has identified nationwide data integration as one of the main tasks in the development of its e-business and a critical step in the informatization of the bank.
