Scaling Microsoft Office Project Server 2003 at the MPSC to Simulate Real World Scenarios

Overview There are only 8 to 10 organizations worldwide that have the expertise to run full-scale scalability labs that showcase the capabilities of Microsoft Office Project Server 2003. The team responsible for Microsoft Office Project wanted to bring these organizations together for training in delivering a scalability lab. The Project team needed facilities that could replicate the kind of infrastructure that an enterprise customer might use to manage a portfolio of large, complex projects - a tall order involving 15 fully configured high-end servers and nearly a dozen workstations. To get the hardware, software, and support services it needed, the Project team turned to the Microsoft Partner Solutions Center (MPSC) and SQLSoft+.
