Overview Atmel Corporation is a global leader in the design, manufacturing, and marketing of advanced semiconductors. The company wanted to offer customers faster and more accurate verification, quicker time-to-market, and first silicon success. The challenge was to develop top-quality design rule decks for new technology. As a solution high-quality rule decks were developed, optimized for Assura verification and there was more productive verification environment. A key step in the Atmel migration to Assura physical verification was the conversion of RCX and Layout Versus Schematic (LVS) rule decks from Diva to Assura. For this task Atmel summoned the expertise of Cadence Methodology Services.
