U.K. Training Provider Helps Government Meet Competitiveness Goals With IT Apprenticeships

Overview Zenos, the biggest training provider in the ICT systems and support sector in the United Kingdom (U.K.), specialises in advanced apprenticeships for young people in IT support and software development. Zenos currently runs advanced apprenticeships for 48 U.K. organisations, including many blue-chip companies. The company has about 1,000 learners registered in its programmes, which are geared toward 16- to 24-year-olds who are already employed. With its advanced apprenticeships - part of a national initiative to improve U.K. competitiveness Zenos has linked Microsoft certifications with academic content from the City and Guilds Institute of London to create a 16-month programme that combines skills and knowledge acquisition.
