PGGM Realizes Considerable Cost Savings in Human Resources and Payroll Processes
Overview PGGM manages the financial future of more than 1.9 million people and their families - an important social responsibility. The company's pension fund provides former and current employees in the healthcare and social work sector with a comprehensive and wide-ranging pension package, at as low a price as possible. The company wanted to reduce salary administration costs. The challenge was to gain flexibility in salary administration and decrease manual errors. The company implemented Oracle's PeopleSoft Enterprise Human Capital Management and PeopleSoft Enterprise Global Payroll for the Netherlands to internalize salary administration and save costs associated with outsourcing to a local provider. It also increased flexibility, allowing the company to manage payroll processes as it desires and make changes as needed.
