Martell Mumm Perrier-Jouet Standardizes Procedures, Improves Agility With Integrated IT Infrastructure
Overview A subsidiary of Pernod Ricard, Martell Mumm Perrier-Jouet (MMPJ) manufactures, distributes, and promotes the group's cognac and champagne offerings. The company wanted to standardize and facilitate procedures to ensure best practices across the Martell & Co., Mumm, Perrier-Jouet and Renault-Biscuit entities. The challenge was to unify and standardize all Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems for the Pernod Ricard group to support external growth and improve control of IT costs. The company replaced disparate ERP systems in the subsidiary's four entities - migrating all systems to Oracle's integrated JD Edwards EnterpriseOne platform The company also standardized processes and deployed best practices for financial management, logistics, sales administration, production, and CAMM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing Management), improving operational efficiency.
