Photoshop Elements 4: Making Selections

Overview Many computer programs allow the user to manipulate elements on a page as objects. That is to say, the user clicks or double-clicks an object to select it, and then he or she modifies the object in any of several ways permitted by the program. For example, if the user goes to the Windows desktop and double-clicks the Recycle Bin icon, the PC shows a window full of files that the user has thrown away. To make a word bold in Microsoft Word, the user double-clicks the word and then clicks the Bold button. Every object is a unique selectable thing.
