TechNet Webcast: Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007: Deployment (Level 300)

Overview With Microsoft Systems Management Server 2003 in use today at over 45,000 customers, the goal of this webcast is to help existing customers move to Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (ConfigMan) 2007 successfully. It also covers how to prepare for deployment of ConfigMan 2007 in a new environment. The presentation includes an overview of the ConfigMan 2007 server roles, security modes, and an introduction to managing Internet-based clients. This webcast focuses on the core areas of setup and deployment, in addition to the initial configuration of a new ConfigMan 2007 site. By the end of the session, attendee will understand the changes in the product as it affects ConfigMan 2007 deployments and the various steps needed to complete an upgrade or new installation.
