Challenger TAFE Sheds Incompatible Infrastructure for Microsoft Solution

Overview Vocational training institution Challenger TAFE (Technical and Further Education) had 10 centers operating on Novell networking and email technology. This infrastructure did not integrate easily with its key business systems. The IT department was also concerned by the small number of Novell support partners in Western Australia. To deliver efficient communication and collaboration, Challenger TAFE decided to migrate to a Microsoft platform. It is working Microsoft Gold Certified Partner ISA Technologies to roll out a wide range of Microsoft server technologies across the 10 TAFE sites, Microsoft Windows Server 2003, Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 and Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server 2004. Challenger TAFE is beginning to reap the rewards with easier management and better alignment to industry partners.
