Overview Center Parcs in the United Kingdom provides short break holidays all year-round in themed natural environments. Its holiday accommodation is nearly fully booked 18 months in advance, but the company wanted to increase revenues by providing facilities for corporate events. To drive this new business, its consultants needed secure, remote access to the corporate network so they could make immediate bookings for corporate clients. The company's IT partner, Microsoft Certified Gold Partner Lynx Technology, managed network security and, in December 2004, Center Parcs implemented Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration Server 2004 to provide an easy-to-manage, multilayered security architecture that features application layer filtering, Web server protection, content filtering, and proxy caching.
