Wipro Technologies Builds Next-Generation Messaging Infrastructure to Deliver Agility, Availability, and Access
Overview Wipro Technologies has over 41,000 employees working in different parts of the world. It was faced by several challenges. In keeping with its growth, the IT infrastructure had become large, cumbersome, and complex. To be agile and yet provide high availability, Wipro needed to re-evaluate the IT infrastructure architecture. Using Microsoft's initiative of secure connected infrastructure, Wipro created a consolidated IT infrastructure that provided the basic tenets of better manageability and security and higher availability. In addition, the organization has reduced the number of servers by 30% and reduced TCO. The new infrastructure brings productivity governed by security that scales to the growth of the organization.
