International Retailer Reduces Junk E-Mails, Frees Up Network With New Security Solution

Overview King of Shaves is a retail brand selling nearly 100 products. Its U.K. office has 25 administrative, management, sales, and production employees, while its U.S. office has two sales employees. Each product is linked to a customer care e-mail address, which generates a lot of junk mail for the company. Because its employees use e-mail and the Internet for more than half of all business activities and 95 per cent of customer correspondence is conducted using e-mail, King of Shaves relies heavily on filtering and security features to protect its communications from junk e-mail and virus attacks. Few years ago, the company began using Microsoft Forefront Client Security (formerly Antigen) to create a secure environment for all its business desktops, laptops, and server operating systems.
