Telecommunications Provider Improves Productivity and Customer Service

Overview Telekom Slovenije is a leading Slovenian telecommunications provider. In 2005 the company replaced its hosted messaging services with a solution based on Microsoft Exchange Server 2003. The company was pleased with the results, and in 2006 deployed Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 to take advantage of the new version's advanced mobile and security features. Using Exchange Server 2007, Telekom Slovenije improved the uptime of its messaging system and increased data security through new backup options and protection against unwanted e-mail and malicious computer software. New features such as server and client-side indexing for rapid searches helped the company increase employee productivity.
