Medical Technology Provider Improves Mobile Collaboration With New Messaging System

Overview WaveLight designs laser systems for medical and cosmetic surgery. The company, which places great importance on communication and collaboration among its employees, needed to integrate its international sales team and internal infrastructure to ensure fast and secure mobile communications. WaveLight consulted IT service provider and Microsoft Gold Certified Partner DATALOG Software for advice on what solution would best fit its needs. DATALOG, in turn, contacted Microsoft, which invited WaveLight to install a pre-release version of its next-generation messaging system - Microsoft Exchange Server 2007. With the new system, WaveLight can deliver better collaboration features, bolster security, cut operating costs, and streamline communications with its field sales force.
