New Solution Provides Cost-Effective Unified Messaging to French Student Aid Organization
Overview The Regional Center for Student Services (CROUS) in Montpellier, France, helps more than 90,000 students with housing, scholarships, employment searches, and other essential needs. In 2006, the Montpellier CROUS determined that it needed to more effectively manage its telephone, fax, and e-mail communications to better provide services to students. The center chose to evaluate beta versions of Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 and Microsoft Office Outlook 2007. Employees began using the new solution's features immediately after deployment and required no special training. They were particularly pleased with features that make managing appointments and accessing messages easier and more convenient, especially for mobile workers. Exchange Server 2007 is already simplifying IT management and will soon provide cost-effective unified messaging when the solution is fully deployed.
