DB2: Test the FixPak Upgrade Using FlexClone Technology
Overview FlexClone technology, available on NetApp FAS or IBM N-Series storage systems can be used as an alternative method for creating test environment for DB2 FixPak upgrades. FlexClone feature enables a DBA to create a test environment in few quick and easy steps without requiring additional storage space. This paper describes the steps needed to create a DB2 FixPak environment using FlexClone technology.
