Overview Statskog, owned by the government of Norway, manages and provides conservation services for Norway's state-owned forests, and sells data and services to private landholders, to help them manage their forests and private land. The goal for Statskog was to build storage and backup solutions that can be easily scaled, improve backup and restore times and reliability, and simplify its backup infrastructure. The company implemented a comprehensive HP StorageWorks solution, including an HP StorageWorks Enterprise Virtual Array (EVA) 5000, an HP StorageWorks EVA8000, an HP StorageWorks Virtual Tape Library System (VLS) 300, HP StorageWorks MSL6060 Tape Libraries, and HP Data Protector Software.
