Formula One Team Better Competes With On-Track Rivals After Deploying New Web Site

Overview For almost three decades, the Williams F1 racing team has been at the forefront of Formula One development. To better compete with its on-track rivals, the team needed a Web site that would document its winning reputation and history. Accenture created the Web site with implementation support from Avanade. Microsoft Commerce Server 2002 was deployed to provide registration functionality and Microsoft Content Management Server 2002 to help IT administrators manage content, while the data resided in Microsoft SQL Server 2000. The solution also employed Avanade Connected Architectures for .NET to help developers improve database access.
