Overview Established in 1953 in response to proprietor Trudi Muller Patriarca's love of teddy bears, soft-toy company Trudi also manufactures and markets wooden toys and baby products through its subsidiary companies Sevi and Olli Olbot. The company wanted to support business expansion and globalization by introducing an integrated, multi-company, multicurrency, multilingual management system capable of optimizing business processes. The challenge was to improve management control of foreign branches and affiliates, including an advanced planning logic for inter-company flow and ensure reliability, flexibility, and security of the system. The company wanted implemented a global management system using the finance, distribution, and manufacturing components of Oracle's JD Edwards EnterpriseOne solution.
