Overview Founded in 1998, Harbin Dongan Automotive Engine Manufacturing (HDMC) is engaged in the research and development, production, and sale of electronic fuel injection engines, gearboxes, and automotive components. The company wanted to install an integrated Enterprise-Resource Planning (ERP) system and provide accurate, current data to support decision-making. The challenge was to improve data quality and consistency, strengthen business management and minimize costs and standardize and automate workflows. The company developed advanced business management platform based on a range of Oracle E-Business applications and increased efficiency by standardizing workflows according to best-practice guidelines.
