Universidad Autonoma de Aguascalientes Boosts Transaction Speed and Administrative Productivity
Overview The Universidad Autonoma de Aguascalientes (Autonomous University of Aguascalientes) has its origins in the Autonomous Institute of Sciences and Technology of Aguascalientes. The university wanted to replace outdated system with one that uses of state-of-the-art information technology and consolidate university processes onto single database and democratize information sharing across the university. The challenge was to provide administrators and users with the fastest possible response times to alumni control, human resources and financial processes and standardize applications and information throughout the university. The university implemented an integrated system, based on Oracle Database 10g, through which the university's key systems - facilities, administration, human resources, and finance - easily interact.
