Overview Contaduria General de la Nacion is the branch that controls the budget management of Uruguay's central government. The company wanted to integrate and centralize financial and accounting information systems in a scalable and flexible technological platform that guarantees the adaptability of the system to modifications, adjusting to the legal and budgetary changes of the country. The challenge was to accelerate analysis of financial information in order to achieve effective decision making by the central administration. The company worked with Tilsor S.A. to establish a solid technological infrastructure, unifying all of the central administration's systems in a flexible and scalable platform. The company implemented Oracle Database Enterprise Edition to integrate a large volume of information in a single database.
