How Learning for Life Became Part of the DNA of One Australian High School

Overview Frankston High School in outer-suburban Melbourne lives its Latin motto. Optima Semper - The Best Always - defines how the school has pursued improvement to what was already a runaway success. In 2006, it extended the largest government school notebook PC program in Australia to include Tablet PCs in order to further enrich resources for teachers and learning possibilities for students. Off late, about 650 students aged from 12 to 16 use traditional notebooks or Tablet PCs running Microsoft Windows XP Tablet PC Edition 2005 and other Microsoft technology in class every day.
