Insurance Company Integrates Its IT Infrastructure, Insures Future Growth
Overview The Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC), a Crown entity that manages the New Zealand national accident compensation scheme, employs more than 2,500 employees in 60 different business units throughout the country. ACC, which provides personal injury cover to all New Zealanders, needed to upgrade and integrate its IT infrastructure to support its organisational structure and growth plans. Over the span of ten months, ACC migrated from a mixed environment to a standardised Microsoft operating environment. The ACC introduced a single-platform solution using Windows Server 2003, Microsoft Exchange Server 2003, Windows XP, Microsoft Office 2003 and Active Directory.
