The resulting efficiency gains mean Stannah has avoided expanding its IT help desk by almost 50 per cent, an annual cost saving of £60,000 (U.S. $106,000). Infrastructure management is far more effective as IT personnel no longer have to audit the infrastructure or deploy software manually. Applications can be implemented company-wide overnight instead of taking two weeks. In addition, IT staff can deploy system updates as soon as they become available, improving network security.
