Energy-Aware Routing in Wireless Ad Hoc and Sensor Networks

Overview Off late, wireless ad hoc and sensor networks have received increased attention in the research community. For the most part, this may be attributed to their highly appealing promise: mobile wireless networking autonomously without the need for an existing infrastructure. In general, wireless ad hoc networks consist of a collection of spatially separated nodes that autonomously form and maintain a network through the wireless medium. This paper survey considers two papers that address routing protocols in energy-constrained ad hoc and sensor networks.
