MSDN Webcast: Russ and Joe Developer Show With Stan Schultes: The Web Service Software Factory Using ASMX (Level 100)
Overview This webcast explores the Web Services Software Factory (also known as the Service Factory), a technology toolkit from the Microsoft patterns & practices group that focuses on building the server side of a Web services infrastructure. The Service Factory takes advantage of several modules in the Microsoft Enterprise Library 2.0 and uses a software factory model to generate the application from database to service implementation through a set of wizards. The Service Factory comes in two flavors nowadays: one for development in Microsoft ASP.NET Web Services (ASMX) and one for development in Windows Communication Foundation (WCF).
