Spanish Bank Migrates Development Projects on to Single, Innovative Environment
Overview Caixa Galicia is a leading Spanish bank with branches across Europe and America. All channels need to deliver the same service levels and a unified customer experience. The company was developing applications from the ground up to work on each of its channels. This resulted in duplication of effort and disparate service delivery. Customers sometimes received a different response over the phone than from an online process. With a new Microsoft-based multi-channel service delivery system, the company transformed its IT infrastructure so that all applications are centrally managed. The final stage of the transformation was the migration of the entire architecture to the Microsoft .NET Framework in two months.
