New Web servers can be deployed in just three hours, giving Mary Kay Inc. the agility to rapidly support both new functionality and increased demand for existing applications. On the database tier, the company scaled up to a clustered solution running Windows 2000 Advanced Server on a 32-processor Unisys ES7000, achieving the high levels of performance, reliability and scalability needed to support Mary Kay Inc.'s rapidly-growing Web infrastructure.
