Error Resilient Video Transmission Over Wireless Networks

Overview An error resilient architecture for video transmission over mobile wireless networks is presented. Radio link layer, transport layer, and application layer are combined to deal with high error rate in wireless environments. The algorithms for both sender and receiver are given. An adaptive algorithm is presented to automatically adjust parity data length in error control. The performance of the proposed algorithm is analyzed through experimental studies.
