Semantic Encoding of Relational Databases in Wireless Networks

Overview Semantic Encoding is a new, patented technology that greatly increases the speed of transmission of distributed databases over networks, especially over ad hoc wireless networks, while providing a novel method of data security. It reduces bandwidth consumption and storage requirements, while speeding up query processing, encryption and computation of digital signatures. The paper describes the application of Semantic Encoding in a wireless setting and provides an example of its operation in which a compression of 290:1 would be achieved.
