Network Appliance Case Study: Meeus
Overview Meeus is one of the largest national service providers of insurance, mortgages, and real estate. The key challenges faced were centralizing company-wide storage infrastructure and realizing expandable storage capacity. The Data ONTAP operating system offered and the flexibility in expanding capacity, NetApp was finally chosen in a unanimous internal decision. Following this, FAS3050C machines were set up at Meeus's Amersfoort location and the backup location in Breda with an initial 5TB of storage capacity per configuration.
