Israel Aircraft Industries Maximizes Efficiency With Move to Network Appliance

Overview Israel Aircraft Industries is a globally recognized developer of aerospace technologies for military and civilian applications. Israel's largest exporter, IAI serves customers in 90 countries. An existing storage system hit its capacity limit, limited growth, was increasingly expensive to operate and maintain, and rendered IAI vendor-dependent and too reliant on external services. IAI moved to a NetApp storage solution, consolidating Oracle, SQL, Exchange, Rational ClearCase, Novell, and other critical data on a clustered NetApp system. NetApp enables multiprotocol and multiplatform support, seamless scaling, fast backup/recovery, and cost efficiencies.
