Cadence Design Systems Relies on High-Performance Storage From Network Appliance
Overview Cadence Design Systems is the leader in global electronic-design automation innovation. For Cadence's larger sites, the biggest challenge is managing the massive amounts of data. Maintaining this data-intensive environment is a constant challenge. Cadence relied on a heterogeneous storage environment in which all business groups independently selected their own storage subsystems. To simplify the environment, the Cadence North American IT Operations group elected to standardize on storage vendors and selected Network Appliance as the company's preferred vendor for NAS products.
