Bronson Healthcare Group Expedites Patient Care and Meets HIPAA Requirements With Network Appliance Compliance Solution

Overview Bronson Healthcare Group (www.bronsonhealth.com) is a community-owned, not-for-profit healthcare system headquartered in Kalamazoo, Michigan, that has been serving patients since 1900. The key challenge faced was to eliminate imaging bottlenecks Support 20% annual growth rates and enable HIPAA compliance. Bronson teamed with its PACS vendor, eMed Technologies, to select a networked storage solution using a NetApp Fabric-Attached Storage (FAS) system to provide high-speed access to a large volume of digital images managed by the eMed Matrix PACS system.
