NetApp Solution Measures Up at Agilent, Cutting Backup Windows by 98%

Overview Agilent Technologies provides measurement tools for the electronics, communications, life science research, environmental, and petrochemical industries. The company wanted to reduce time required to complete backups and improve disaster recovery capabilities. The company also wanted to consolidate storage onto fewer platforms. The solution to this was online and near-line disk storage with NetApp SnapVault and Open Systems SnapVault (OSSV) to back up data.
