Silicon Image, Inc. Improves Provisioning and Ensures Compliance With Identity Management Solution

Overview Silicon Image, Inc. designs and sells various types of integrated circuits, including digital video controllers, receivers, transmitters, and processors found in personal computers, set-top boxes, and DVD players. The company wanted to improve and accelerate provisioning. The challenge was to ensure regulatory compliance; implement a scalable and flexible solution that works within the company's existing architecture; lack of single source of truth for identity information; and multiple out of sync password policies. The company implemented Oracle Identity Manager to improve provisioning, enable single sign-on capabilities for multiple applications, and enhance customer service.
