Overview A joint venture between General Electric, Toshiba, and Mitsubishi Electric, TMEIC GE Automation Systems, LLC designs and develops advanced automation and drive systems. The company wanted to create an IT infrastructure that was highly available, flexible, and scalable to support the company's rapid growth. The challenge was to control IT management costs and gain greater visibility into project costs to enable more accurate pricing and billing. The company deployed Oracle E-Business Suite On Demand to create a highly available, scalable, and reliable IT infrastructure to support the company's global operations and reduced IT management costs and ensured predictability with a hosted solution.
