OS/EM (Awesome): Operating System/Environment Manager

Overview Operating System/Environment Manager (OS/EM) provides a multitude of features for improved control, throughput and processing efficiency in a z/OS enterprise server processing environment. Throughput management is implemented using the complete set of enterprise standards control functions described herein. The time and expense of developing, testing and implementing system modifications is eliminated. No JES2 source modifications are required. All functions are supported by standard JES2, SMF, DFSMShsm, RACF, ISPF, ALLOC, TSO exit points and macros.
